All seafood products supplied by Kazy’s Gourmet Shop are in compliance with the United States Food and Drug Administration guidelines for Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point. We do not directly import any fresh or frozen seafood and we only purchase from HACCP approved wholesalers, distributors, and importers. The following measures are implemented:

  • Hazard analysis of all seafood products
  • Standard Sanitation Operating Procedures (SSOP)
  • Storage of all frozen seafood at -4°F (-20°C) or below for 7 days
We currently have three employees on staff who are HACCP certified and registered food service managers.
